Ware Property Filings Show Wide Price Gap Between Two Disclosed Sales
Eleven property transactions were recorded in Ware between July 10 and July 15, but only two disclosed a sale price: $295,185 for 7 Woodland Heights and $40,000 for 9 Gould Rd, producing a median of $167,592. Both priced sales listed a bank as buyer, suggesting foreclosure-related transfers. The other nine filings, including three same-day transfers on Malboeuf Road, were largely estate tax certificates, a homestead declaration and a mortgage affidavit rather than conventional sales, so the period's activity cannot be read as 11 comparable home sales.
